Experience the ultimate Corvette road trip as you tackle the legendary Tail of the Dragon—318 curves over 11 miles of pure adrenaline! Kicking off at the National Corvette Museum on April 27, this four-day adventure takes you through breathtaking mountain scenery to Asheville, NC, with a stay at the luxurious Inn on Biltmore Estate. Enjoy exclusive photo ops at the Biltmore House, a gourmet breakfast at the Stable Café, and a self-guided tour of the mansion and gardens, along with your choice of a select specialty tour. Have you ever wanted to see the Le Mans in person?? While it may seem a bit pricey, this tour with the NCM might be that one trip to add to your bucket list!
Join the NCM on the 2025 Le Mans Tour, a perfect blend of racing heritage and French culture. Begin with four nights in Paris, exploring iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre before visiting Normandy’s historic D-Day beaches. Then, head to Le Mans for the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Corvette Racing battles the world’s best. Enjoy the Parade des Pilotes, two full days of race action, and a stay in Angers for the ideal mix of adrenaline and relaxation. Mark your calendars for the 2025 version of “Ride with the Lights” event. Elizabeth and Guy will help coordinate our club’s participation this year, and many of our members have participated in the past. This fund-raising event helps establish the funds needed to allow the police departments throughout Wisconsin to buy gift cards that the police officers hand out to people of need they encounter along their way. More to come next month on the logistics and the fun events planned for this year’s event. Beyond the exciting ride with police escort this event will end at a location that promise’s additional activities that will excite us “car” and “motorcycle” enthusiasts. There is a “pre-registration” fee or donation involved.

IMSA weekend event. Pete Bilski reports the Corvette Corral at Road America is an outstanding experience. There is a fee of $70/person, but the day is filled with activity. Pete states there may be an opportunity for COTB members to get your car on the track followed by a pace car; the fee is $30 for this. There may be a raffle to ride along with a Corvette professional driver. At 12:45pm the Corvette racing team will be available to COTB members to meet and socialize with the drivers. Wrap up at 4:00, then meet at the Iron Buffalo Saloon in Menchalville.
